La Grange is not a large town (about 8,000 residents), and Oldham County is fairly undeveloped when compared to our neighbors — Cincinnati and Louisville. So, a “shop local” bridal fair may seem ludicrous to some; but, we’re growing, and we always have brides…

This year, with the second “shop local” bridal fair, we’ve created a directory for brides and grooms. This directory also helps us (and future merchants) know what we have and what we lack for the bridal trade. By popular vote, we do have the best bridal shop in all of Kentuckiana, so how can we fail?

With our wedding packages, the bride and groom will receive an engagement portrait session, two photographers (us!) photographing candids and posed images before, during and after the wedding, we cover the entire reception and don’t leave early or rush the photographs, and, while right now we’re revamping our packages and pricing structure for 2012, we also offer coffee table books designed by us and professionally printed by Asukabook and/or high res CDs/DVDs and a low res “viewing” CD. We will cover the rehearsal and dinner for no additional cost as long as we don’t have a schedule conflict. While we don’t do videography, we do offer a slide show package that Sam puts together in IMovie showing the bride and groom while growing up and we include some of their engagement portraits that we did and this can be shown at the rehearsal dinner, during the wedding or at the reception. We give low res CDs in lieu of on-line photo selection services, to keep our costs down, and we can give copies of the CD to the parents, also. Other ala Carte products that we offer include: a bridal portrait session for the bride and she may also bring her mother and/or bridesmaids; a 16×20 signature portrait, parents/grandparents books; and, of course, reprints and gallery portraits (prints 11×14 and larger). We operate our studio and business from a building that we built behind our home 10 years ago specifically for our photography needs.
